Job Details

Location: Los Angeles County, CA (This is a 100% onsite position) 

Position Type: Full-Time, Salary, Commission

Compensation:  $90,000 - $100,000 

Title: Regional Director of Sales

 

Job Purpose

The Regional Director of Sales for American Golf Corporation is a high-energy, strategic leader responsible for driving revenue growth, market expansion, and brand visibility across multiple venues throughout Los Angeles County. This individual will spearhead sales efforts for weddings, corporate outings, social events, fundraisers, and other key revenue streams while supporting General Managers and local leadership to achieve and exceed performance goals.

 

This role requires a results-driven professional with strong market research abilities, exceptional client relationship management skills, and a proven ability to curate sales strategies that meet the diverse needs of guests and communities. Acting as both a strategist and hands-on sales leader, the Regional Director will elevate American Golf’s competitive position in the region while ensuring seamless alignment with operations and corporate objectives.

 

Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate, nurture, and close sales opportunities across weddings, corporate, social, and community events.
  • Identify new business opportunities, monitor local market trends, and develop strategies that expand American Golf’s presence across LA County and other markets.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, community organizations, and event planners to drive consistent sales pipelines.
  • Partner with course managers to ensure sales strategies, guest experiences, and operational execution are seamlessly integrated.
  • Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports, analyzing performance, pipeline activity, and revenue forecasts.
  • Develop creative sales packages and upselling techniques that enhance profitability and guest satisfaction.
  • Inspire and support sales staff across multiple courses, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance.
  • Represent American Golf at networking events, expos, and community initiatives to expand visibility and generate new business.

Additional Information

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of sales leadership experience in high-volume hospitality, golf/club management, or leisure/entertainment.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue through weddings, corporate, social, and fundraising events.
  • Strong knowledge of LA County market dynamics, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with experience in forecasting and budget management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/Sales technology platforms.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours as needed to support business demands.
  • Self-motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-venue environment.

 

Working Conditions

  • Regular travel throughout Los Angeles County to multiple American Golf courses; occasional travel outside the region may be required.

  • Position requires availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays based on client events, sales demands, and business needs.

  • Primarily course-based with administrative duties, must be comfortable balancing on-site presence with independent work.

  • Role demands the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and guest service.

  • May be required to stand, walk, or assist with event oversight for extended periods, including participation in outdoor events subject to seasonal weather conditions.
