Position Type: Salary + Bonus. 

Compensation: $110,000 - $120,000

Title: HR Director

 

Job Purpose 
We are looking for a skilled HR Director to lead and manage the Human Resource’s function, ensuring compliance with employment laws and overseeing key HR processes.  

This role will drive effective employee relations, manage performance review systems, and oversee HRIS reporting and operations, all while supporting the broader business goals. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth HR operations, implementing best practices, and fostering a legally compliant, productive work environment. 

Responsibilities 

  • Develop and manage HR policies and procedures that ensure compliance with federal and state laws and align with company objectives. 
  • Handle employee relations issues, providing guidance and conflict resolution support to management and employees. 
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of performance management processes, including performance reviews and feedback systems. 
  • Manage HRIS reporting, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in tracking key HR metrics and processes. 
  • Provide strategic support to leadership on HR-related matters, ensuring that all HR practices align with company goals and compliance standards. 
  • Build and refine HR programs to enhance employee engagement, development, and retention. 
  • Provide expert guidance to senior leadership on HR best practices, compliance, and employee relations strategies. 

Qualifications

Qualifications 

  • Extensive experience in HR leadership with a focus on compliance, employee relations, and performance management. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and the creation of complex spreadsheets. 
  • Strong experience in HRIS systems, with a proven track record of managing, optimizing, and implementing HR software solutions. 
  • Experience with system implementation and HR process improvements, with a focus on efficiency and data-driven decision-making. 
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law and best practices, with the ability to guide senior leadership on HR matters. 
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills. 
  • Strong ability to analyze HR data, generate reports, and use insights to inform decisions. 

 

Education 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant 7+ years experience. 
  • Professional certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP are preferred. 

 

Work Conditions: 

  • Full-time, on-site position at the company office. 
  • The role requires long hours sitting at a desk, using a computer, and attending meetings. 
  • Must be adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment. 
  • Occasional travel may be required for HR-related initiatives or company events.
